Software Engineer - Toolbar Development
We're looking for a candidate who has experience in building Browser plug-ins and toolbars. A deep understanding of Browser object models, JavaScript, and CSS is required. Requirements
- Specific Demonstrable Experience Building IE & Firefox Toolbars
- Prior experience building toolbars for IE directly utilizing base Windows APIs (not .NET)
- Thorough understanding of the Document Object Model and techniques and pitfalls of DOM manipulation
- Good understanding of the browser security models
- Windows Development Experience
- 3+ years experience as a senior developer with in-depth knowledge of the Windows SDK and Win32 API
- Extensive experience with COM, ATL, STL, XUL and Web Services
- Working experience with MSI and web based (ActiveX) windows installation technologies
- Excellent Understanding/Experience with Web Technologies
- Have extensive knowledge and solid experience with XHTML, CSS, and Ajax/JavaScript
- Have experience with REST, XML-RPC, XPATH, and XSLT

Web Application UI and Graphics Designer
We're currently looking for a smart, dynamic, ambitious Graphics Designer to complement our passionate, fun, and tightly networked team of developers and product managers to focus on application UI design and enhancements.
The graphic artist will be responsible for developing web application design layouts, graphics, and other related properties. The candidate must be highly creative, with extensive HTML, CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript experience.
Responsibilities
- Participate in concept development, design ideation, and detailed specification of visual designs for future Connectbeam application
- Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user centered design process
- Produce design specifications, storyboards, scenarios, design prototypes
- Create visual designs that address business, brand, market, and user requirements, including design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, and interface elements
- Collaborate with product management, and researchers to refine the user experience, and work with engineers to deliver the final product
- Some corporate website related work and enhancements
- Well organized, with good verbal and writing communication skills, and able to balance multiple simultaneous projects
Requirements
- Experience: 2-4 Years experience as a member of a UI team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of successfully launched web and/or software applications
- Creative skills: Color studies, concept brainstorming, screen layouts, information design, and typography, and must have a great eye for detail
- Design skills: Able to develop new approaches to complex design problems and can convey ideas into tangible form
- Communication skills: Candidates must able to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team, and be able to rationalize and present their design ideas and decisions effectively
- Must be able to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Technical skills: PhotoShop, Illustrator, or similar graphics software
- Hands-on experience with current web technologies (html, dhtml, css, Javascript)
- Education: Background in Graphic Design, Digital Media Design or other visual arts
Preferred Qualifications
- Prototyping skills in Flash and/or Flex, CSS or other dynamic prototyping tools

We seek a JavaScript programmer with strong CS fundamentals and who has been known to have Firebug, and IE Script Debugger running simultaneously. We are not particular about the years of professional experience but a passion for web technologies and optimizing the user experience is a must.
